Tater Tot Casserole

This is a great comfort food in the winter time. The secret to making this taste great is seasoning the beef well.

lean ground beef
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
3/4 can(s)
milk (use the soup can)
1 bag(s)
extra-crispy tater tots
1/4 tsp
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
onion powder
1 can(s)
whole kernel corn, well drained

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large skillet add the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and drain well.
Add soup and milk to empty pan and mix well. Over medium heat let the soup begin to bubble. Add the ground beef and the drained corn and mix well.
In a 13x9-inch casserole dish, carefully add half the bag of tater tots and spread evenly in the dish. Carefully add the soup/beef mix and spread out evenly over tater tots. Top with remaining tater tots. Cover with foil tightly and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil and turn oven up to 400 degrees and brown tots for 15 minutes or to your desired likeness. Let sit for 5 minutes after removing from oven. It is HOT!!!
