This Casserole if "Family Pleasing" and "Budget Friendly".
This can be prepared in as little as 15 minutes.

I top mine with all the goodies, But you may just serve this topped with lettuce and tomatoes, depending on your budget and what's in your pantry..

Ingredients

TACO SKILLETT FILLING

1-2 lb
lean ground beef brown & drain
2 C
water
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix (your favorite)
2 C
minute brand white rice, ( dry uncooked)
1 C
mexican style shredded cheese

TOPPING

2 C
shredded lettuce
2 C
chopped tomatoes
1/2 Cup
chopped green onions
1 sm
can sliced black olives
(optional) salsa & sour cream

Step-By-Step

1in Non Stick Skillet, Brown Burger and drain off fat.
NOTE:
I use 2 Lbs ground beef if I want a lot of beef in mine with 2-pkg taco seasoning mix)
2Add water & Taco Seasoning mix,
(add more is you want more spice)
TIP: I DO A TASTE TEST for flavor!!

Then Stir well and bring to a boil.
3Stir in Dry Minute rice,
Sprinkle with cheese, & cover.
Reduce your heat to simmer for 5 Minutes, Covered.
Remove from heat,
4Top with "your Desired toppings"; of any of the following;
Lettuce, tomatoes,
plus, Salsa, olives onions, sour cream, or Guacamole.

Serve Hot with Corn Chips if desired, or tortilla chips.
