I was going to make hamburgers for supper last night but tired of just plain burgers...had some stuff here to make tacos & thought I'd incorporate all of that into a sandwich...
Was going to take a picture but he was starving...so will have to wait til next time for the picture! He said they were good, but a little messy...that's what napkins are for!

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef chuck (85/15)
1 Tbsp
instant minced onion
1/2 tsp
cumin
1 tsp
black pepper
1 tsp
mrs. dash kitchen blend
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1
egg
1/2 c
breadcrumbs
4
romaine lettuce leaves
4 slice
tomatoes, thin sliced
8 Tbsp
salsa (two per sandwich)
4 Tbsp
shredded taco blend cheese
4 tsp
sour cream
4
sandwich buns (kaiser rolls are good)

Step-By-Step

1Crumble meat in bowl. Combine all the seasonings and add to meat. Break egg into mixture, work into meat with your hands. Add breadcrumbs and combine well.
2Divide meat into 4 patties, making thinner in center w/thicker edges. Place in skillet and cook over medium heat, turning over halfway through time. I did mine about 10 min first, then 5 on second side for well done.
3Remove burgers from skillet and blot with paper towelling to absorb any excess grease.
4Place buns on platter, put 1 Tblsp. salsa on each top & bottom of buns, then layer lettuce, burger, cheese, tomato and sour cream. Top with other half of bun and enjoy!
