Ingredients

round steak filets
1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
garlic salt
1/4 c
vegetable oil
1
large onion, sliced
28 oz
stewed tomatoes
1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1/2 tsp
black pepper

Step-By-Step

1Pound Steak; mix flour and salt in bowl. Dip filets in the flour and set aside.
2Heat oil in skillet. Add filets and brown on both sides.
3Spread onion over the top of the filets.
4Add tomatoes, oregano and black pepper. Add 1/2 cup water. Turn down to simmer and cook 45 minutes or more. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
