Had this beautiful Brisket a couple of weeks ago and man was it delicious. We had Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Corn On The Cob with it.

Ingredients

1
beef brisket (3 to 3 1/2 lbs.)*, cut in half
1 c
ketchup
1/4 c
grape jelly
1 1/4
envelope onion soup mix
1/2 tsp
pepper

Step-By-Step

1Place half of the brisket in a slow cooker. In a bowl, combine the ketchup, jelly, soup mix and pepper; spread half over meat.
2Top with remaining meat and ketchup mixture. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender. Slice brisket; serve with cooking juices. 8-10 servings.
3*Be sure you are using a fresh beef brisket, not a corned beef.
