This recipe comes from (Eat what you Love) cook book. it's low in fat, and very simple to make. You can substitute turkey
for beef, or use 1/2 each.

Pan Fry

Ingredients

1 lb
lean ground turkey (or half turkey & half beef)
1/2 c
onion (diced)
1 small
bell pepper (diced)
2 tsp
all purpose flour
3/4 c
dr pepper (or cola) i use diet pepsi
1/2 c
low sugar ketchup (regular is fine to)
1 Tbsp
vinegar
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
pinch of salt

whole wheat hamburger buns

Directions Step-By-Step

In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the turkey with the onion, & bell pepper. (drain)

add the remaining ingredients mix thoroughly. reduce the heat, & simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until thickened.

serve a scant 1/4 cup on each bun.
