Ingredients For sukiyaki

2 Tbspsalad oil

1 lbboneless beef tenderloin, very thinly sliced across the grain

2 Tbspsugar

1/2 cbeef broth

1/3 csoy sauce
-
2 cbias-sliced green onions
-
1 cbias-sliced celery
-
5 csmall spinach leaves

1 lbcan bean sprouts, drained

1 cthinly sliced fresh mushrooms

5 ozcan of water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced

5 ozcan of bamboo shoots, drained

hot cooked rice
How To Make sukiyaki

1Preheat (High) electric skillet or wok; add oil. Add beef; cook quickly, turning meat over and over, 1 to 2 minutes, or just until browned. Sprinkle with sugar.

2Combine beef stock and soy; pour over meat. Push meat to one side. Let soy mixture bubble.

3Keeping in separate groups, add onions and celery. Continue cooking and tossing each group on high for about 1 minute; push to one side.

4Again keeping in separate groups, add remaining ingredients except rice. Cook and stir each group just until hot.

5Serve with hot cooked rice
