green cabbage leaves (2 - 2 lb heads)
chili sauce (12 ounce)
Soften leaves by steaming in boiling salted water.
Chop onions and layer in bottom of greased pan
Combine beef, pepper, eggs, salt, ketchup and crackers. Shape into rolls
Wrap meat rolls with cabbage leaves. Place rolled cabbage on top of onions.
Mix together chili sauce, grape jelly and water as a sauce. Pour 1/2 of sauce over rolls.
Cover cabbage rolls tightly and bake 2 hrs at 300. Uncover, pour remaining sauce over and let bake 40 min.
