WASH PEPPERS AND CUT IN HALF LENGTHWISE. REMOVE SEEDS AND MEMBRANES. COOK THE PEPPER HALVES UNCOVERED IN BOILING WATER FOR 5 MIN. INVERT TO DRAIN.SPRINKLE THE INSIDES OF PEPPERS LIGHTLY WITH SALT.

IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN COOK GROUND CHUCK WITH ONION,CELERY,AND GARLIC UNTILL MEAT IS BROWN AND ONION IS TENDER. DRAIN OFF FAT

STIR BREAD CRUMBS, TOMATO ,TOMATO PASTE,SALT AND PEPPER INTO MEAT MIXTURE, STUFF PEPPERS WITH MEAT MIXTURE

PLACE STUFFED PEPPERS IN A BAKING DISH . BAKE UNCOVERED IN A 350* OVEN FOR 30 TO 35 MIN. OR UNTIL HOT : TO TOAST BREAD CRUMBS, SPREAD CRUMBS EVENLY IN A SHALLOW BAKING PAN' BAKE AT 350* ABOUT 10 MIN. OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.

NOTE : RICE AND CHEESE CAN ALSO BE ADDED TO THIS DISH ALSO YOU CAN TOP WITH TOMATO SAUCE ABOUT 10.MIN BEFORE TAKING OUT OF THE OVEN.
