Ingredients For sloppy taco joe's

  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix, low sodium
  • 1 can
    ro*tel (tomatoes & green chiles)
  • 8
    hamburger buns or taco shells (hard or soft)
  • mexican blend shredded cheese
  • sour cream

How To Make sloppy taco joe's

  • 1
    Cook the onion until translucent; about 6 minutes. Add beef & taco seasoning in a 10" skillet over medium high heat until well browned, stirring often.

    Stir the ro*tel in the skillet & cook until the mixture is hot & bubbling. Spoon the beef mixture on the buns. Top with the cheese & a dollop of sour cream.

    VARIATIONS: Can also be served over french fries, baked potato, rice, nachos, etc.
