Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper. Drain fat.
Add salt, ketchup and brown sugar. Heat to almost a boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve on buns. You may need to add a little more liquid (usually I rinse out the measuring cup after I have added the ketchup...about 1/4 cup. Just don't add too much or you'l have sloppy joe soup!! LOL)
