There really is no secret to the ease of making this mouth watering roast. This is a staple recipe at my house. I have made this same recipe in the crock pot but it is sooooooo much better in the oven.
Lay out a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil, place the roast on it. Pour a can of mushroom soup over it and spread it all over. Sprinkle a pkg. of beef flavored,dry onion soup mix over that. Roll the foil up tightly and place in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 250° for at least 6 hrs. I have baked it all night for holiday gatherings the next day. You wake up to a wonderful aroma the next morning.
