Quick Beef Stroganoff

This is a recipe I've made for over 50 years and I love it. So good served with hot crusty bread and a salad.
Where this recipe got it's name, I have no idea because it is not anything like a regular beef stroganoff, but what's in a name any how.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef, lean
1 large
onion, chopped
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 c
uncooked, fine egg noodles
2 c
tomato juice
1/2 c
sour cream
1 Tbsp
flour

Step-By-Step

1In a large skillet with lid, brown meat and onions, drain. Add salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
2Place noodles evenly over beef mixture in skillet. Slowly pour tomato juice evenly over uncooked noodles. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until noodles are tender.
3When noodles are tender, combine sour cream and flour; stir gently into meat/noodle mixture. Heat through but DO NOT LET MIXTURE BOIL.
