This is a quick and easy recipe based on the traditional shepherd's pie. It's also cheap to make and feeds a family of four easily. :) enjoy.

Ingredients For quick and easy shepherd's pie

2 lbground beef

1 pkgfrozen mixed veggies

1 pkgbeef gravy mix

1 pkgbeefy onion soup mix

1 pkginstant mashed potatoes
How To Make quick and easy shepherd's pie

1Brown ground beef and drain off excess fat

2Add mixed veggies, beef gravy (already prepared), beefy onion soup mix and one cup of water. Bring to a good simmer for about 10 minutes.

3While the meat mixture is simmering, prepare the mashed potatoes and set aside.

4Pour beef mixture into a casserole dish. Top with mashed potatoes and put into a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. Top with shredded cheddar cheese if desired. Remove from oven, dish up and enjoy! :)
