beef or pork pot roast
1 pkg
lipton onion soup mix
1 bottle
chili sauce
1 c
coca cola
1 bag
baby carrots
1 bag
small potatoes
2 stick
of chourico or linguisa (it's a portuguese sausage) or any other sausage will do

Directions Step-By-Step

preheat oven to 350 degrees. in a small bowl, combine package of lipton onion soup mix, chili sauce and 1 cup coke. stir until blended. put aside.
get a roasting pan, put just enough of water to cover bottom of pan. put pot roast in. cut the chourico or linguisa into slightly thick slices. put the potatoes, baby carrots and chourico or linguisa around the roast. then pour the mixture in the small bowl over the roast. with a large spoon, just stir the potatoes and chourico and carrots until all are coated.
bake covered at 350 degrees for about 2 and a half hours. halfway through baste. about 1/2 hour before being done take off the cover to let brown.
