- italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 c
- 1/4 c
- dried minced onion
- 2 tsp
- garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp
- ground white pepper
- 8 oz
- mozzarella cheese block, cut into 48 cubes
- 1/3 c
- 1/4 c
- your favorite pizza or spaghetti sauce
1In a bowl, combine first six ingredients until just mixed. Do not overmix or the meatballs will be tough.
2Shape into 48 meatballs. Push a cube of mozzarella cheese into the center of each meatball, covering the cheese completely with meat.
3Roll meatballs lightly in flour. In a large skillet, cook the meatballs in hot oil until browned. Drain.
4Add sauce to skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 35 minutes, or until meatballs are no longer pink.
