After finding out I am allergic to tomatoes, the search for modified recipes began. This tastes close enough to real chili that I can use it for things like Frito pie, etc, and my kids like it.

Ingredients

1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
1 lb
lean ground beef
1 can(s)
refried beans, large
water, as needed
tortilla chips, corn chips, cheese, chopped onions, etc

Step-By-Step

1Brown the ground beef and drain, if desired.
2Stir in taco seasoning and the amount of water specified on package.
Stir in refried beans, and warm through, adding more water if too thick.
3Serve and top with your favorite extras. :)
