Ingredients For oven barbecued short ribs

  • 2 lb
    beef short ribs
  • 1/2 c
    burgundy wine
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce, can
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion, chopped
  • 1.5 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1 dash
    cayenne pepper

How To Make oven barbecued short ribs

    Trim some fat from short ribs, rub hot skillet with it.

    Brown ribs slowly on all sides; drain off fat.

    Combine all other ingredients; pour over ribs and cover tightly.

    Bake in 300 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until meat is deliciously tender.
