Ingredients

medium onion chopped
3/4 c
diced celery
3 c
soft bread cubes
1/2 c
water
2
eggs, beaten
1/3 c
diced green pepper
1 Tbsp
salt
1/2 lb
ground pork
1/2 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
tomato juice
2 Tbsp
melted butter

Directions Step-By-Step

To make dressing:
brown in 1/4 cup fat, onion and celery.
Mix with:
bread cubes,water, eggs,green pepper and salt.
Mix: ground pork and ground beef together.

Pat out 1/2 of meat mixture into a 10x5x3 loaf pan.
Cover with the dressing.
Then top dressing with the rest of the meat mixture.

Bast with tomato juice and 2 Tablespoons melted butter.
Bake at 350 for 1- 1/4 hours.
