My Ex Mother-In-Law's Pot Roast

Ingredients

3-5 lb
brisket or other lean pot roast cut
1 can(s)
cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix

Directions Step-By-Step

Place meat into a dutch oven or crock pot.

mash cranberry sauce on top and sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over meat.

Add water to just barely cover. Cook low and slow until "falling apart done" for 3+ hours in dutch oven or 8 hours in the crockpot. Serve with noodles or buckwheat groats.
