Ingredients For *** mom's stuffed peppers ***

8 lgbell peppers, green, yellow, orange or red

1 lbground beef
-
1onion, chopped
-
1 1/2 ccroutons, garlic

1 - 2 oz. canmushrooms, drained

2tomatoes, diced
-
1/2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
salt & pepper, to taste
-
1 cshredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 - 4 oz. cantomato sauce, italian seasoned
How To Make *** mom's stuffed peppers ***

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Slice of top of each pepper. Precook peppers in boiling water, 5 minutes.

3In skillet, brown beef & onions. Drain. Stir in croutons, mushrooms, diced tomato, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper & 1/2 C mozzarella. Spoon into peppers. Bake covered with foil 1/2 hour.

4Uncover & sprinkle rest of cheese. Bake 10 minutes. Cover tops of peppers (on top of cheese) with tomato sauce, cook 10 minutes more.
