Ingredients For *** mom's spanish rice casserole ***

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 c
    cooked rice
  • 1 pt
    salsa
  • 1 - 15 oz. can
    mexican stewed tomatoes
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg
    cream cheese

How To Make *** mom's spanish rice casserole ***

    In skillet, saute meat with onion & garlic powders. Mix in cooked rice. Pour in tomatoes & salsa; mix well. Stir in 1/2 of the cheese; mix well.

    Pour into greased 13 x 9" baking dish; add rest of cheese, cover & bake 12 - 15 minutes until cheese melts.
