Ingredients

3 tsp
cornmeal
1
loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
1/4 lb
extra lean ground beef or turkey
2 Tbsp
chopped onion
1/2 c
taco sauce
1/2 c
low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 c
leaf lettuce, shredded
3/4 c
tomatoes, seeded, chopped
3 Tbsp
nonfat sour cream, optional
2 Tbsp
green onions, sliced

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 450.

2Spray cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray.

3Sprinkle evenly with 1-2 teaspoons of the cornmeal.

4Divide dough into thirds.

5Press or roll each into a 7" circle.

6Sprinkle evenly with rest of cornmeal.

7Press lightly into crusts.

8Place on coated cookie sheets.

9Prick crusts generously with fork.

10Bake at 450 for 8 minutes.

11(If crusts puff during baking, flatten slightly with spoon.)

12Meanwhile, in medium skillet brown ground beef and onion.

13Drain well.

14Add taco sauce and mix well.

15Spread evenly over partially baked crusts.

16Sprinkle with cheese.

17Bake at 450 for an additional 7-9 minutes or until cheese is melted and crusts are golden brown.

18Top with lettuce and tomatoes.

19Place 1 tablespoon of sour cream in center of each pizza.

20Sprinkle with green onions.
