Ingredients For mexican import

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 1 pt
    cottage cheese, small curd
  • 7 oz
    green chiles, mild
  • 17 oz
    bag doritos chips crushed (any flavor)
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees, brown ground beef in a skillet along with salt, pepper and garlic, until completely cooked. Add sour cream, cottage cheese, green chilies and tomato sauce.

    Crush Dorito chips into small pieces and set aside. Using a large casserole dish (large enough to get at least 3 layers) layer ground beef mixture in the bottom then add a layer of crushed Dorito Chips and then a layer of cheese. Repeat 3 times the top layer should be cheese. Place in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Let casserole cool for a few minutes before serving!
