1 lb ground beef, browned & drained
1 pkg flour tortillas or corn tortillas, your choice
1 can(s) green beans, drained and chopped
1 can(s) corn, drained
1 can(s) chopped green chiles
1 large can refried beans
1 jar(s) salsa, (we like chunky and hot)
1 or 2 jalapenos, fresh & chopped (optional)
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 pkg shredded cheddar cheese

A friend introduced me to this recipe about 20 years ago. Now I make it for pot lucks at work and it's always a big hit!

To the browned ground beef add the chopped green beans, corn, green chilies, refried beans, salsa,jalapenos and taco seasoning. Mix together until well blended.
Spray crock pot with Pam, put some of the beef mixture on bottom, make a layer with the tortillas, another layer of meat mixture, and sprinkle with cheddar cheese (we like it cheesy), repeat layering until crock pot is full, ending with cheese.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Serve with chopped tomatoes, sour cream, shredded lettuce, and more salsa if you want. We also like to add Crunchy Tortilla chips as a side.

@bobdoescooking, If you give it a try you will love it. You can make it as mild or spicy as you like. My family likes very spicy so when I make it I use my homemade canned salsa made with Scorpion Peppers.
