Meat and Potato Pie

Ingredients

3 lb
ground chuck
2 Tbsp
dried minced onions
4
fresh carrots finely chopped/or shredded
1
large bag frozen hash browns defrosted!!! or shredd your own potatoes, drain them, dry them then layer them on.
2 box
pillsbury frozen pie crusts at room temp.
1 stick
butter or margarine
1 c
hot ketchup

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 425 degrees.

In a 13x 9 inch baking pan layer two pie shells to cover the entire bottom of the pan. Set aside.
2In a large bowl mix together your ground chuck seasonings, and carrots. Then press down the meat into the baking pan so that it is even all around.
3Now layer your hash browns on top of the meat. Slice the stick of butter or margarine into thin slices and place on top of the hash browns.
4Now layer the other pie crusts on top of the baking pan, seal with a fork all around the edges. Poke a fork through the crust here and there about 5-6 pokes for steam ventelation.
5Place in oven for an hour. Reove from oven and carefull drain any grease from the pan, Serve hot, with hot catsup on top. Yum!!!!
