My mother-in-law's delicious hamburgers. Serve with real mashed potatoes and candied sliced carrots.

Ingredients

1 lb
lean ground beef
3 Tbsp
finely chopped onion
1 pkg
g. washington's brown seasoning
3/4 c
bread crumbs
2 large
eggs
2 Tbsp
oil for saute
additional bread crumbs for dredging

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients except for the oil. Heat oil in heavy skillet. Shape meat mixture into 4 or 5 thick burgers. Dredge in additional breadcrumbs. Lightly brown burgers in skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tbs water to the pan; cover and cook over low heat until burgers just begin to release some juice. Makes 4 - 5 servings

2If you can't find G. Washington's brand, a pkg of Herb-Ox can be substituted.
