Not bad for the waistline.
Sort of spicy to the pallet.

If you don't like black beans,substitute with dark red kidney beans.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
(15oz) black beans,rinsed and drained
1 small
red onion,finely chopped
1/2 c
frozen corn,thawed
1/4 c
dry bread crumbs
1 can(s)
(chopped green chilies4oz)
2 Tbsp
worchestershire sauce
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
cumin
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 lb
ground beef
1/2 lb
extra lean ground turkey
1/2 c
fat free mayonnaise
1/4 c
salsa
8 slice
pepper jack cheese ...1/2oz each
8
whole wheat hamburg buns

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS

lettuce leaves,tomato slices,and red onion rings

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large bowl,coarsely mash beans.
Stir in next 8 ingredients,crumble turkey and beef over mixture and mix well.
Shape into 8 patties.
Refrigerate 1 hour.

Coat grill rack with cooking spray before lighting grill.
Grill burgers,covered,over medium heat for 5-7 minutes each side,or until a meat thermometer reads 165 and juices run clear.

Top with cheese,cover,and grill 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve on buns with toppings of your choice.
