Linda's Swiss Steak

Passed down from my paternal grandmother to my mother and now me, this is an old family comfort food served with mashed potatoes and Fried Green Beans with Bacon.
1Roll steak in flour and brown, remove from pan. Add brown gravy mix according to directions, it will deglaze the pan. Add steak back in, cover and simmer 30 minutes or until tender.
2This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled which is what I usually do.
