Linda's Notes:

Passed down from my paternal grandmother to my mother and now me, this is an old family comfort food served with mashed potatoes and Fried Green Beans with Bacon.

Directions

1
Roll steak in flour and brown, remove from pan. Add brown gravy mix according to directions, it will deglaze the pan. Add steak back in, cover and simmer 30 minutes or until tender.
2
This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled which is what I usually do.

You take 6-8 slices of bacon and partially fry it. Add 1 pound of green beans and steam until the beans are tender. You can then increase heat if you want to crisp it up. It is an old southern recipe from my grandmother.

McCormick's is a company that makes spices and mixes. You can probably find them on the internet.
