This recipe began life as Bisquick's Impossibly East Cheeseburger Pie, but I just can't leave well enough alone. I go to at least two potlucks a month and am always looking for something new and exciting (and delicious) to share with my friends. I also love South Asian (Indian/Pakistani) cuisines, but realize that many people can't handle that much heat. I also discovered that these days, "curry powder" isn't that awful yellow stuff, but is quite close to what they actually use in India and Pakistan. And, of course, I can never leave well enough alone!
