We love beef stew. I make some for our home and I love beef stew and I use the beef stew meat and it is not hard to make a beef stew and cook in a dutch oven pot and it smells good in my kitchen. It is so delicious and tasty.

Ingredients

2 lb
beef stew meat
3 Tbsp
flour
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1
bay leaf
1 Tbsp
seasoned salt
1/2 tsp
marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp
ground black pepper
1 can(s)
(14 ounces) beef broth

carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
4
medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
4
small onions, peeled and quartered
2
celery ribs, cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions Step-By-Step

Coat beef with flour. Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium-high heat. Add 1/2 of the beef; brown on all sides. Repeat with remaining beef.

Stir in seasonings and beef broth. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.

Stir in vegetables; cover. Simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add additional water as necessary. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Serve on rice or egg noodles.
