Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
  • 1 dash salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (crushed, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 10 ounces corn, drained
  • 2 cups minute rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make hamburger hash

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef, stirring constantly to break it up into fine pieces. When the beef is no longer pink, add the onion, and continue cooking until the onion has softened, and the beef has browned, about 5 more minutes.
  • Step 2
Drain excess grease from the beef, then season with pepper flakes, parsley, oregano, and garlic powder, celery salt, salt and pepper. Stir in chicken soup, corn, and rice. Cook for a few minutes to warm, then pour into a casserole dish.
  • Step 3
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, then sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, and continue baking for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
