Sometimes I use mushroom soup instead ot cheddar cheese soup and put shredded cheddar cheese on top, the last 15-20 mins. of baking.

Ingredients For hamburger casserole

  • 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 med. onion, diced
  • 1 lb. frozen tator tots
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 milk

How To Make hamburger casserole

  • 1
    Brown hamburger and onion in sillet. Layer this mixture, tater tots, hamburger, tater tots, hamburger, etc., in a lightly sprayed casserole dish. ( I like to end up with the meat mixture.)

    Beat soup and milk together. Pour over the meat mixture and tator tots.

    Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
