Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
chopped onion
1
14 1/2-oz can stewed tomatoes
2
4-oz cans chopped green chilies
2 c
potatoes, peeled and diced
2 c
water
1/2 tsp
salt

Directions Step-By-Step

In soup pan cook ground beef with onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, green chilies, potatoes and water. Add salt. Simmer, uncovered 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Makes 4-6 servings.
