Grandma Dugas' No-Peak Stew

This came from my grandmother's recipe box and it sounded like a great meal to serve on a cold day.

Ingredients

1 lb
beef stew meat
1 or 2 stalk(s)
celery, cut to bite-size pieces
1/2
onion, chopped
3
carrots, cut to bite-size pieces
4
potatoes, peeled and cut to bite-size pieces
1 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
tapioca
1 tsp
sugar
1 c
tomato juice (personal choice is v-8 juice)

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients together in a dutch oven. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours.
