pounds sirloin steak,sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/2 CUP
soy sauce, dark

tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1/4 cup
sake or sherry

clove garlic pureed
1
teaspoon to 3 tablespoons sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

marinate steak for about 1 hour in mixture of soy sauce fresh ginger sake or sherry,garlic, and sugar according to taste.

Drain; weave meat on skewers,using one skewer for each strip of meat. cook quickly,1 to 2 min on each side, over hot coals,basting with the marinade. do not overcook.
