finely chopped garlic
Using a Mortar and Pestle, or the flat side of a knife, mash the garlic with a large pinch of salt until it forms a paste.
In a Medium bowl, combine the garlic paste, butter, thyme, black pepper and 1 tsp of salt. Smear half the mixture on both sides of the steaks.
Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to soak up the flavor. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Grill for 5 minutes on George Foreman grill.
