Fresh Cilantro and Pepper Dipping Sauce

Just found this recipe in People magazine and it's called Rib Eye Bites. I made a couple of minor changes to it by adding the lime juice and using a red bell pepper instead of a green one. It's so good. I cannot wait for out steak to be ready!

Ingredients

1 Tbsp
olive oil
1
red bell pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces, top removed
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/4 c
sour cream
3/4 c
fresh cilantro leaves, lightly packed
1
garlic cloved, peeled
2 oz
cream cheese
salt and pepper to taste
juice of half a lime

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook peppers in olive oil in large skillet over medium heat for about 5 min. or until soft. Add Soy sauce and set aside.

Pulse sour cream, cilantro, lime juice and garlic in blender. Add peppers and cream cheese; puree until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Set in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Cook your steak and dip in! So good!

PS. Try it with boiled shrimp too! Nice for the summer!
