Ingredients For french meatball soup

2 Tbsprice

salt to taste

1.25 cbeef broth

2 Tbspdry red wine

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/4 tspparsley
-
1/4 tspgarlic, minced

1 Tbsponion, grated

1 Tbspegg, beaten
-
2 ozground round
-
pepper to taste
How To Make french meatball soup
-
1Stove Top: Add rice to 1 cup water.

2Boil 5 minutes; drain well.

3Blend rice, ground round, egg, onion, garlic, parsley and nutmeg.

4Form into small meatballs.

5Add wine to broth; bring to boil.

6Drop meatballs into hot broth, one at a time.

7Bring to boil again; reduce heat.

8Simmer 20 minutes.

9Add salt and pepper.

10Microwave: Add rice to 1 cup salted water.

11Bring to a boil.

12Hold 5 minutes; drain well.

13Combine meatball ingredients as above.

14Bring wine and broth to a boil.

15Drop meatballs into hot broth, one at time.

16Bring to a boil again.

17Hold 10 minutes.

18Add salt and pepper.

19Crockpot: Make meatballs as above and simmer in crockpot on low for 2 hours.
