Ingredients For fire alarm chili

  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can tomatoes (16 oz)
  • 1 t. tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 t. cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    fiery chili powder
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. ground cumin
  • 1/2 t. ground oregano
  • 1/2 t. paprika
  • 1/2 t. ground cloves
  • 1/2 t. ground allspice
  • 1 bay leaf, crushed
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 can (29 oz) kidney beans, drained

How To Make fire alarm chili

  • 1
    Pour oil in skillet. Add meat and brown with garlic. Transfer meat to large pot.

    Add remaining ingredients except wine and beans. Simmer for 1 hour. Add water occasionally if needed. Add wine and beans, Simmer for 15 minutes more. Serve 4 to 6 Source: My Old Recipes
