Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Kelley Ehresman

This is a well know receipe made with Lipton Onion Soup however I have added a few other ingredients. I take this to church potlucks and I never have even a bite left. I shared with my sister last week and she was estatic and loved it! She said she will use this receipe from now on. It makes it's own gravy.

4-5 lb
beef chuck roast
1 pkg
brown gravy mix
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg
lipton onion soup mix
1 c
milk, 2% (that's what i use)

1Place Roast in Crock Pot.

2In a medium bowl mix all the other ingredients except for 1 can of the cream of mushroom soup. Pour Mixture over roast. Set crock pot on high for 6 hours or on low for 8 hours.

3When roast is done remove from crock pot. Put the 2nd can of mushroom soup in crock pot. This makes the gravy.

4Side Note: I have also made this with adding potatoes and carrots. I just scoop the veggies out then make the gravy. I have added another package of brown gravy and the can of cream of mushroom soup to make more gravy, and then also added a little milk to this.
