This was my mother-in-laws recipe originally. However, it is one of my most asked for recipes...and my husband can't get enough of it.

Ingredients

3-4 lb
beef chuck roast
1 pkg
dry onion soup
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can(s)
water
carrots, quartered
potatoes quartered

Directions Step-By-Step

Place roast in roasting pan
Add soups and water on top of roast.
Cover roaster and put in 275 oven for 3 hours.

Use amount of carrots and potatoes you prefer for this beef roast.
Place potatoes and carrots around the roast and continue to roast for an additional hour.
In 4 hours your entire meal is done, complete with gravy and veggies.

*If you choose to use a larger roast, double the soups and water for more gravy.
