easy oven stew

I'm a good cook but not a great one. I cook spaghetti, lasagna, mac and cheese, beef veg soup.....regular food and mostly recipes my mother made. We have 5 children 4 of whom are boys and parented 20 foster kids. This is one of our favorites and I found it on the side of the Hunt's tomato can. The recipe calls for canned whole tomatoes but when my children were young they didn't want to SEE the tomatoes so I blended them up in the food processor. These days I'm using the canned, chopped tomatoes. Since I found this recipe I never brown meat any other way besides in the oven.....
