Jeanne's StoryThis is a great cool-weather recipe to fix on a lazy weekend. Just put this on in the morning and let it cook all day while you spend your day doing whatever you please. Then enjoy a warm and tasty meal of beef tips paired with your favorite side and hot bread then enjoy a good movie. What could be more relaxing.
1 - 2 lb
sirloin tip steak, cut into cubes
fresh mushrooms, sliced
onion, cut into large pieces
cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to season
1Lightly salt and pepper the beef tips and put them in a bowl with the flour. Stir until beef is covered with the flour.
2Combine the other ingredients in the Crockpot. Mix well.
3Add the beef tips and whatever flour is left, if any, to the Crockpot; stir to combine.
4Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until steak is tender.
5Serve over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes or even toasted bread.
