Ingredients For crock pot tomato curry steak

  • CROCK POT TOMATO CURRY STEAK
  • 2 lb
    steak -- of your choice, cut into bite size
  • 1 lg
    onion -- sliced & halved
  • 1 lg
    green bell pepper -- sliced into strips
  • 2 (8 oz) can
    mushrooms -- drain juices
  • 3
    stalks of celery -- cut into slices
  • 1 (15 oz) can
    beef broth
  • TOMATO CURRY SAUCE
  • 1 (15 oz) can
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 sm
    onion -– diced
  • 1 sm
    apple -– diced
  • 1/2 clove
    garlic -– minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    red curry powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    chinese five spice
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make crock pot tomato curry steak

    Add the meat to the crock pot with 1 cup of Beef Broth and cook for 3 hours by itself.

    Then add all the veggies and mix around.

    Cook for 1 hour and then drain off any excess juice.

    Now we will make the tomato curry sauce.

    After you have made the tomato curry sauce pour over the steak and veggies and stir around well and cook for another 2 hours.

    Pour tomato sauce and water into saucepan.

    Add onion, apple, garlic, butter, Salt, Curry and Five Spice.

    Stir thoroughly every few minutes during the time of cooking/simmering.

    Simmer gently 20 to 25 minutes.
