Ingredients

2 lb
stew meat
2 Tbsp
flour
1 pinch
salt and pepper
1 clove
garlic
1 pkg
brown gravy
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg
sliced mushrooms
1/4 c
diced onion
2 tsp
cornstarch
3 tsp
water
1 Tbsp
olive or vegetable oil
4 oz
sour cream

Step-By-Step

1Dredge stew meat with flour, add pinch of salt and pepper. Sear for 2 minutes.
2Add beef to a casserole dish and set aside. Saute garlic, onion and mushroom in oil. Add to beef.
3Add in soup, gravy (a jar of gravy or packet with water) bake at 300 for 2 hours. Last 1/2 hour add a mixture of 2 tsp of cornstarch and 3 tsp of water to thicken. Remove from oven and mix in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles.
