Creamy Cubed Steak and Vegetables

This is easy and oh-so-good, especially on a chilly day. Very comforting one-dish meal!

Ingredients

beef cubed steaks
1 1/2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
beef consomme
1 medium
onion, peeled and rough chopped
3
celery stalks, cut in 2" x 1/2" sticks
4 medium
waxy potatoes, scrubbed and cut into eighths
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown steaks well in oil in a large skillet. Place in a 9 x 13" glass baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, combine soups and consomme and mix well. Add cut up vegetables and seasonings and stir to combine. Pour over meat in baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 65-75 mins until cubed steak is tender, celery sticks are beginning to soften, and potatoes are tender. Serve with liquid from dish as gravy.
