- round steak filet
- 2 c
- 1/4 Tbsp
- 4 oz
- tomato sauce
- onion, sliced
- green bell pepper, sliced
1Cut steak into serving portions.
2Combine flour, salt and black pepper in medium-size bowl.
3Roll cut steaks in flour mixture, coating both sides.
4Melt shortening or butter in a hot skillet.
5Brown round steak on both sides, but do not cook.
6Add tomato sauce, onion and green pepper.
7Cook low for 6 to 12 hours, or on high for up to 6 hours.
