Ingredients

meat sauce:
1 lb
ground beef
1/2 lb
italian pork sausage
3/4 c
chopped onions
1 can(s)
italian plum tpmatos, cut up and undrained

6oz can tomato paste
1 tsp
dried basil
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1/2 tsp
sugar
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
salt
cheese mixture
1
15oz container of ricotta cheese
1 c
cottage cheese
2
beaten eggs
1/2 c
parmesan cheese
1/4 c
chopped fresh parsley
4 c
shredded mozzarella
10
uncooked lasagna noodles

Step-By-Step

1Cook noodles, drain and place in cold water
2in large saucepan combine beef, sausage, and onion. Cook till meat is done., Drain. Add all remaining meat sauce ingredients, mix well. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 30-45 minutes or till very thick. Stirring occasionally
3In a medium bowl combine all cheese mixture ingredients, except mozzarella.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread about 1/2 cup of meat sauce over the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 baking dish. Top with 3 noodles, half of cheese mixture and half of the mozzarella. repeat layers, ending with the mozzarella.
4Bake for 35-45 minutes or till bubbly. Let stand a few minutes before serving
