2 pounds lean chili meat
1/2 pound lean ground chuck
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
3/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sage
2 tablespoons cornmeal
1 pkg. williams’s chili seasoning, 1 oz
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 cup chili sauce
1 can tomato paste, 6 oz.
1 can whole tomatoes, 1 pound

Directions Step-By-Step

Sauté ground meats, onion, green pepper and garlic in six quart roasting pan. Add remaining ingredients. Blend well. Bring to boiling point. Reduce heat and simmer, covered two hours. Beans may be added if desired. Variable servings
